Steve Zugelter, the owner of a successful wedding cinematography business, was ready to take his company to the next level. Wanting to shift his market focus to a higher-end clientele, Steve was in need of a total re-brand. He also wanted to change his company name from 'Glass Eye Video' to something more personal and relevant. Steve chose 'Studio Z Films' heavily based on his name. He also wanted to get away from using the words 'video' and 'videographer' as his work and style depict more of a film or movie trailer feel.
A bright pink was chosen to set Studio+Z Films apart from his competitors. Currently, no one in his market uses a vibrant pink. For his logo, the space between 'Studio' and 'Z' was lacking something. We used a plus symbol to join the two pieces; we then played off the symbol for all of Steve's pieces. A brand was born!
