Christine Pobke is known for her fun-loving, cheery personality and it shows right through her photos. It's just one of the reasons why her Canberra, Australia-based photography business is growing so quickly. Pobke Photography specializes in capturing candid, natural-light photos of children, couples, and families. And when looking at Christine's vibrant pictures, you can tell the smiles and laughter are genuine. Pobke Photography is a young business that is always growing and changing, and Christine knew she needed a new logo and blog to continue that growth.

Christine's original color scheme of navy blue and black didn't showcase her fun, bright personality or appeal to her audience very well. But a new color scheme was on the horizon, one full of playful, punchy colors. The new blues, pinks, and greens are as lively as the children she captures, but distinguished enough for her adult clientele. Along with the new color scheme, the logo also consists of strategic design. The three circles in the logo represent the shape of a camera lens. And each "lens" captures her three target markets, allowing the logo design to easily grow with Christine's business should she ever change those markets. To give the logo a final, polished look, the three "O's" in Pobke Photography were colored to match each of the three colored lenses.

To further establish her brand, Christine's new logo, color scheme, and lens theme carries over into her custom WordPress blog. Circles are a recurring theme throughout the design, from the Twitter feed, to buttons, to the blog's intricate details. The lens icons even label each post as a children, couples, or family photos, making it easy for users to navigate the blog. Christine's kind heart is woven throughout the design, and even in the copy ("15 lovely comments"). The blog feels cozy, inviting, and fun, just like her work, and you'll feel warm fuzzies every time you visit her blog!
