Michelle Moore has established herself as one of Seattle's premiere fashion editorial and senior portrait photographers. But after spending the last 7 years in Seattle, Michelle decided it was time for a little more sunshine in her career and set her sights on LA's fast-paced fashion and photography markets. She knew she needed to take her brand up a notch to win over the city's cutting-edge clientele and called on Ribbons of Red for a brand makeover—LA style!

The original orange and purple color scheme was incorporated into the new logo design; the vibrant colors proved to be perfect for a trendy, sunny look. Michelle's signature trademark, her crest, was re-purposed and created into a symbol. A bold, slightly rugged font made the logo fresh, hip, and perfect for LA. But because the new logo carried shapes and colors from Michelle's original design, her Seattle clients also adapted easily and jumped on board with the brand update.

The custom intro page is where the new design really came to life. It provided a great springboard to further develop Michelle's look, and it re-introduced clients to her already popular brand. Michelle had mentioned her love of whiteboards—personal, inspirational holding space for creativity and new ideas—and that idea blossomed into a beautiful intro page design. Photos that looked as though they were taped to the design made each portal, and a handwritten font was chosen to suggest Michelle had written her bio right on the screen. Careful details make for a great brand and web page. They also make great pictures, something Michelle Moore knows well.
