For those of you who don’t already know, Ribbons of Red is finally on Facebook! After many requests and peer pressure from our clients, we’ve decided to create our own little space there. :) It’s still a work in progress, but we’d love if you would stop by, say hello, and watch our little page grow!

Ribbons of Red began as a part-time venture. It was a fun and exciting creative outlet—something my corporate job lacked. Each client that came in felt like a gift. I couldn’t wait to dive into every project and learn about each new business. It wasn’t long before one client became two, and two clients became three. Before I knew it, I had so much design work that I was forced into a crossroads.
My grandma’s passing (the reason I began Ribbons of Red) again reminded me that life is short and precious. I couldn’t forget what she had taught me her last year in life: to seize the day. Ultimately, with the support of my loved ones, I chose to peruse the life of a small business owner and see where Ribbons of Red would take me. Today, the launching of my new redesign is not only exciting, but monumental for me. I am embarking on a new chapter with my business, and had I not been successful, today would not be possible. Without further ado, I’d like to explain a little bit about the new look and what you can expect from Ribbons of Red in the future.

This year has been absolutely amazing for me. I was invited up to New York to be a judge at the NORI awards, Ribbons of Red won an American Design Award, our work was published in Killed Ideas Vol. 1, and now we’ve been chosen for the Killed Ideas Vol. 1 People’s Choice Award! Words can’t express how incredibly thankful and blessed we are to be recognized for our work. A big thanks to everyone who put up with a month of “Please vote for me!” and to everyone who voted just once or every day!
